Can I change the picture inside the “Image Background” layout?
Jimena says
Yes, of course you can. Simply change the background of the slide for your own image. Please check the FAQs.
Aurora says
The icon appearing on your slides aren’t available in the icon tab on Powerpoint? How can I find them?
Jimena says
Hello Aurora, you can find all the icons in slide number 26. Please check the FAQs.
jill rosie says
How do you change the brush color on Google Slides?
Jimena says
Hi Jill, you’ve got to change the slide background (you can use a solid color, a gradient or even a photo). The brush is transparent and the color you use will be “seen through”
John says
How to change the white border in the first slide?
Jimena says
Hello John, I’m sorry but the white border is part of the brush image and can’t be edited.
tyler says
It tells me that I can’t access the slide.
Jimena says
Hello Tyler, I’m sorry to hear that. Please check the FAQs.
Simon Lidster says
Great template – much better than the last ones I bought.
Thanks for your work
Ava says
Yes thank you so much!
Melody says
I accidentally changed the master font and can’t figure out what it started out as. What is the font called that you used in the template? Thanks
Jimena says
Hello Melody, this template uses Montserrat font in extrabold and light weights.
Agnes says
Thank you so much! I used it for my presentation at the university and everybody loved the design.
It is perfect for artistic themes.
Thank you for making it free and avaliable!
Taylor says
I have downloaded this template as a powerpoint and edited and then saved, but once I re-open the powerpoint after it has been saved, the colors have disappeared and it is only grey/monotone. Any feedback on this?
Jimena says
Hi, I’m sorry to hear that. It may be related with your version of Powerpoint, as I’ve tried with Powerpoint version 16 and found no problem. Try opening the master slides and check if the parent master still has a gradient background. If not you can set a new one.
Karen says
This is such a beautifully designed presentation theme! I’m blown away that you actually let us download this for free and I truly appreciate your kindness. This is better than any premium design any day. Good job, designer. :)
Tiffany says
Very awesome template. My students commented on how much they loved it.
Abdi says
How do you move the brush graphic? Is it stuck to the actual background?
Jimena says
Yes, it is stuck, I’m sorry but there’s no way to move it
Jim Hill says
How do I just make one page that is all white?
Jimena says
Hi Jim, you’ll have to edit the master slides and create a new master that has no content at all. Then you’ll be able to use that blank layout in your presentation. Please check the FAQs.
Jim Hill says
I found another way to accomplish this Jimena. All I had to do was create a blank slide page from another one of my presentations and import it to the slide I am currently using! (Honestly, I didn’t actually understand your solution to my conflict!) LOL!!
Hailey says
Absolutely love this! Just wondering if there’s a Venn Diagram I could use that would suit the design of this? Thank you :)
Jimena says
Hi Hailey, as the template is already very colorful you should use a diagram that has a really simple design. Using different tones of gray would be the best option, you can see an example at slide 12.
Kay Doss says
How do I make it so that when I put my image in the brush stroke it doesn’t stretch the picture?
Jimena says
Hello Kay, you need an image that keeps a 16:9 ratio. I use 1280x720px images but you can use a ratio calculator to find the sizes that will work. Please check the FAQs.
Paige says
I was concerned about that too! Great to know how to fix it :)
Katherine says
Hi I am creating a presentation with the Juliet template and want to use the format of the ‘quote’ slide is it possible to remove the quotation mark and keep the yellow color?
Jimena says
Yes, it is. Enter the master slides and delete the quotation mark from the quote master template. Please check the FAQs.
Anthony says
I know theres a template for a brush effect on the left but is there a template for the brush effect on the right? I want to give me powerpoint some variation and I cant seem to find any way of doing this. In the preview on slide 10 it shows this. Is there anyway of doing it?
Jimena says
Yes Anthony, use the master layout “Title + 1 column + Image” in all slides and the brush will be shown on the right side.
Dan says
Thank you very much! This is an amazing PP and I am incredibly impressed by how versatile and nice it is! <3
Chris P. Bacon says
So I downloaded this template for a school project. I really like the design, but there is on flaw that is impossible to ignore; I cannot paste an image from a google doc in the presentation. It’s not an issue with the image because I have copy pasted the same image in to a default google slide presentation. My project requires the use of images as it is on propaganda, and I need multiple images on a slide. I know that I am able to change the background so that the image appears in the brush stroke, but that wouldn’t work with my project. I hope someone can fix this.
Jimena says
Hi Chris, if you’re working with Powerpoint download the images you need to use and then place them in the slide using the “Insert” menu
Andrés says
Hey Jimena! Great PowerPoint template, absolutely loved it. I used it for a school presentation and made it look really good. I just couldn’t figure out how to use the image background slide, the “big image” one. So, how can I use that slide for another presentation? That’s the only problem I found, thanks for the design.
Jimena says
Hi Andrés! Simply change the background of the slide for your own image. Please check the FAQs.
Tom says
Jimena. I need to address you directly. This template is absolutely amazing. I just changed the gradient of the brushes and lost my frickin’ mind. Thank you. Thank you. I am so grateful to have this powerpoint.
Shie says
It is downloaded as a pdf. How am I supposed to edit it?
Jimena says
Hi Shie, this issue happens when you try to download from a mobile phone and you don’t have the Google Slides app installed. Please check the FAQs.
Mimi says
Hello! How does one make those paint graphics? Your graphics are very pleasing and creative!
Jimena says
Hi Mimi, I made them in Adobe Photoshop, using several techniques I’ve learned through the years. If you want to learn there are tons of superb tutorials, I can recommend Tutplus
Elise Baum says
Thanks for designing it, this is a beautiful template and I’m very excited to use it!
Nandita says
I’m not able to access the slides or template, can someone help me? Thanks a lot in advance.
Jimena says
Hello Nandita, please check the FAQs.
Nandita says
This is what shows up for me:
“You need permission. Want in? Ask for access, or switch to an account with permission. Learn more”
Jimena says
Hello Nandita, it’s because your Google Account is hosted by a school and it doesn’t have full permissions to use files from other domains in order to protect the students. Please check the FAQs.
Angie says
Hi, how do I change this off-white/grey colored background? Everytime I try to make it completely white it only makes the brush stroke design white. Help me please! Thank you.
Jimena says
Hi Angie, the stroke, the frame and the grey background are actually a single image. The brush part is transparent and lets see the color/photo that is set as background of the slide.
So, long story short, I’m sorry but there is no way to change the grey colored background.
Nga Dao says
I do love PPt presentations but due to the tough time, I can’t take much time for designing of my own. I highly appreciate the design you made.
Thank you so much with a lot of respect
Domenico Tranquilli says
This is my favourite template, definitely the best one I’ve ever used – it has so much potential that it can be used both for a class presentation and a market research. The design is of such a versatility that it can be used to present topics regarding history, law, science, human rights – obviously it depends on how you organise the elements in your presentation. Still, I used this theme several times and it has never let me down. The designer has definitely done a great job in developing it!
Emmalee says
Hi!
In your description it says “It shows a framed brush stroke that adapts to any color!” How do I make it adapt to a different color? Looking for separate slides of these colors: pink, orange, and a coral color– I really just need the template for the very first page.
Thanks so much! I LOVE this presentation! So beautiful.
Thanks again,
Emmalee
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Emmalee, to change the brush color simply set another background color for the slide. The “brush mask” is actually a transparent image and the slide background color will be seen through.
Josie Powers says
This is a beautiful presentation! I really wish that I could change the one that says a picture is worth a thousand words. Super elegant!
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Josie, of course you can change that picture. Simply click the image and select the “Replace image” option in the menu.
Cynthia Castillo says
How can I make my bullet points into unique shapes?
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Cynthia, to set unique shapes for your bullet points:

Am I the only one that this thing takes hours to load?
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
I’m really sorry Brook. This December we’re having a lot of traffic on SlidesCarnival. I’m afraid that when there are many people trying to use the same template, my Google Drive account can’t cope. You could:
Charu says
How can I edit and post it on Google Slides or PowerPoint?
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
I’m sorry Charu but I can’t understand your question, you can’t “post” on Google Slides or PowerPoint. If you want to use and edit the template please check the frequently asked questions.
Simon says
Beautiful presentation! It’s simple, nice and elegant…
Great idea and job. Success 4 you and thank you for your inspiration.
JP says
Hi Jimena, tx love this template. I am using PPT. With slide 10 “a picture worth a thousand words” I can replace the image by using “format background” but cannot resize the image so it is seen as an image in the brushstroke – the picture lands up being the size of the entire slide and cannot be seen properly. There must be a trick I’m unaware of. I’ve read all the questions about slide 10 and read/watched FAQ. And searched the internet. What am I missing. Much appreciated!
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hello JP. I’m sorry, I updated that slide some time ago and didn’t update the comments
Now that image uses a shape mask, to change it simply click to select the picture. Then go to “Picture format” tab and select “Change picture” option.
JP says
Hi Jimena, thanks for your reply – the clue you gave me was there is a new version of the template. I’ve downloaded the new version and it all works magnificently! What a relief. You’re the best, thank you so much!
PAMELA MARTINEZ RIVERA says
Hi, can this be used as template for Google Data Studio? If so, can you teach me how?
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Sorry Pamela, I’m not a Google Data Studio user so I really don’t know.
jayn says
Hi, where can i found the icons use in this template? like the stars, phone icons etc.? thanks.
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Jayn, SlidesCarnival icons are usually in one of the last slides of the template. Simply select in that slide the icon you want to use and copy-paste to the slide where you want to use it.
Maddie says
I love this template! It’s beautiful! I used it to create a virtual class compliment activity. Am I able to sell it on TPT?
Thanks!
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Maddie. Yes, commercial use is allowed as long as you give appropriate credit to SlidesCarnival and given that you’ve built upon the original material with your own content.
Dalila Syairah says
Thank you so much for the beautiful template. I will be having an assessment session with my managers & would love to wow them with simple yet informative slides. Thank you!
Emilee says
How do you edit the big picture one?
