How can I change it to 4:3 format? I’m using Google Slides on my iPad. Thank you!
SlidesCarnival says
I’m not sure that can be done in iPad, please ask @GoogleDocs at Twitter or search in the GoogleDocs Help https://support.google.com/docs/answer/2763168?hl=en

So amazing and really really helpful and inspiring, A very big thank you for the person who thought of this <3
Vidha says
How’d you make the graph like that? I tried on google slides but i couldn’t make it that aesthetically pleasing
SlidesCarnival says
Graphs are created at Google Spreadsheet https://support.google.com/docs/answer/190718?hl=en
Once you have it you just have to copy-paste from Spreadsheet to Slides

Hi, I’ve looked around and can’t seem to get the emojis as an icon rather a character. So I am not able to resize or change colors etc. Can someone please tell me what I need to do?
SlidesCarnival says
Hi, emojis behave as a text character, so you should resize and recolor them using the text tools (as you would do with a title for example).
Christy says
I am also having trouble with emojis. I can copy and past them as an icon, but they do not behave as a text character. When I try to change the color/lines etc. it just ends up changing the color of the text box. Any advise?
SlidesCarnival says
You can’t change the lines in an emoji, as you can’t change them in a text character. And to change the color of the emoji you have to use the text-color tool, if you use the fill-color tool it will color the whole text box.

Hi, I followed the directions to import this theme but the photo in the background and most of the formatting doesn’t transfer over – there’s just a solid blue color for the background. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks
SlidesCarnival says
Hi, if the photos didn’ import you can try to simply copy-paste them from the original template to your master slides https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3447671?hl=en&ref_topic=1694827

Hello Evren, if the “make a copy” option isn’t working for you download as PowerPoint and then upload the pptx file to your Google Drive. You’ll be able to open (“convert”) it and edit with Google Slides.

Really like all of these themes, and I use them all of the time!
But can you add a “section title and description” layout, like the preset slides themes in google?
Jimena says
Hi Jacob, I already have a similar layout in all my templates, it’s the number 3 slide “Transition headline”
Venkat says
How to add new slides?
Jimena says
Hello Venkat, that’s a question about the basics of presentation software. Please check Google Slides or Powerpoint help.
Heidemarie West says
Hello…how can I change the margin of the slide template? 1 inch top, 1-inch bottom, 1 inch right & 1.5 on the left margin?
Jimena says
Hello Heidemarie, I’m sorry but presentation software isn’t like Word or Docs, you can’t set the global margins anywhere as you place all the elements where you want.
Maya says
How do you insert your icons on to my google slide?
Jimena says
Hello Maya, simply copy and paste. Please check the FAQs.
Aurélie says
Hello,
Can we change the blue color for another color?
