I love this presentation and love using SlidesCarnival, I have been for years. However, when I download this to powerpoint, the colors don’t come out properly. I tried it with google slides to check and they were fine, but then I downloaded from google slides to check and the colors were still off. I can’t think of why that would be. Thanks though anyways.

I see, the colors are different because the transparency of the gradients is not correctly exported to Powerpoint. I’ll contact Google Slides team about this issue, thank you very much

For anyone having trouble with the Powerpoint version of it, I have found a solution to the washed out colours. Its a bit slow, but if you want to use it, it’s worth it.
After you have downloaded it, go to each slide and:
1. Click in the coloured area
2. Click again in each colour zone in turn, there are 3 per coloured area
3. Go to the transparency slider on each zone, it is most likely on 80%, change it to 20%
4. Don’t forget to save it.
It’s not perfect but it is close.

How do you edit the colors of the swooshes? Whenever I try, the transparency of them is lost. I am very confused!

Hello Jake, the swooshes have a gradient fill in which each color used has some level of transparency. So when you set a new color you have to be sure to set some transparency for it too. The fill color tool has an option to set color transparency both in Powerpoint and Google Slides, check the software help to learn how it can be done.
