I understand what you are saying. I didn’t make the illustrations myself but I use the ones from Alzea Arafat. I’d be happy to design another template with more diverse characters if you point me to a creative commons resource that I can use.
Meanwhile I can recommend you some of my templates that show more diversity and you can use with your students: Clean Team Work, Geometric Sport, Diverse People, Cute Kids or Reading is Magical, among many others.

Thank you for making the images of the sweet people available as well! Having access to that made it so easy to fit them onto my Google Slideshow which is portrait-oriented rather than landscape. My students LOVE this template!
