How can I change the background picture for example on the first foil? Thanks :)
Jimena says
Select a slide and go to the Slide menu, and select Background, or right-click in a slide and select Change background. Then upload your own photos.
Libby says
Where did you get the photos for the backgrounds from?
Jimena says
They’re from https://unsplash.com/
Maddie Townsend says
Is there anyway to change the brightness or the tint on the background images? I tried to insert my own photos, but they end up looking very dark. I can’t figure out how to fix this. Thanks.
Jimena says
Hello Maddie, Miranda has a dark transparent layer over the background to ensure that the white text is readable independently of the photo used. But you can delete this layer if you want your photos to look just as you upload them. To do so enter the master slides (click on “Slide” menu -> “Edit master”) and in all the master layouts select and delete the transparent rectangle that covers the entire slide background.
Alejandra says
It’s really nice, I love the pictures and the font letters.
Richie says
How can I upload this to Google Slides?
Jimena says
When you click on the button “Use as Google Slides theme” automatically you’ll be offered to make a copy of the template to your Google Drive
Imandjan says
Hello! Really enjoyed your presentation, it’s awesome. But i have a question: How to add white lines on the slides to another photos?
Jimena says
Hello Imandjan, the white line frame is part of the template master, so any new slide that you create will have that frame. Select a slide and go to the Slide menu, and select Background, or right-click in a slide and select Change background. Then upload your own photo and, as it is a background, it will be shown below the frame.
Hannah says
How do you use the icons?
Jimena says
Icons are usually in slide number 27. Simply select in that slide the icon you want to use and copy-paste to the slide where you want to use it.
Chance Chime says
Could you send the link for the background for quotes ( The one with a Chair )
Jimena says
Sorry, I don’t keep the links to the photos I use. But I’m sure that photo is from unsplash, try searching there https://unsplash.com/search/photos/chair

Jimena says
Hi Jorge, nice to meet you. It depends on the science that you’ll be talking about: biology, maths, physics, medicine… Friar template is a great option if you don’t mind the informal touch.
Julia says
How do I edit the pie chart used in the presentation to fit my data? P.S. I love this design!
Jimena says
Hello Julia, I’m sorry but that pie chart it’s only an image example so it can’t be edited. I created it easily in Google Sheets, it won’t take you long to create your own.

I just used one of your presentations to create a social studies lesson. I love your templates I love the backgrounds. I love the fonts. I have been making presentations for about 10 years for my classroom and find that it helps with time management, student engagement, and flow. I started very slow and simple. I want to thank you for the care that you precision you put into these slides. I was really only looking for good backgrounds and you have provided me with so much more. My day working on the presentation that normally takes 8 hours finding and creating took half that. Again, thank you.
