How do I mask images with a shape in PowerPoint?

If you want to show your images in an appealing design, you can mask them to fit into a certain shape.

  1. On the Insert tab, click Pictures. In the dialog box that opens, find the picture that you want to insert, select it and then click Insert.
  2. Once the image appears on your slide, click it and select the Format picture tab.
  3. Click on the Crop option and go to Crop to shape.
  4. The selected shape will mask your image. To adjust your shape, click and drag the colored handles.
