Dorothy says
How can I change the color? The slides are ‘View Only’ so I can’t edit the color.
SlidesCarnival says
Hello Dorothy,
Click on the Use this presentation button, and the template will open in Google Slides in a new window. Then go to the File menu and select Make a copy. You will get a copy of the document in your Google Drive (so you need a Google Drive account) and you’ll be able to edit, add or delete slides. You’ll find the instructions in the second slide of every presentation and also in the FAQs page.
Once you’ve got a copy you enter the master slides and change the color of the yellow rectangle https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3447671?hl=en&ref_topic=1694827
Rachel Merrick says
Is there a way to edit the color when editing it in PowerPoint?
SlidesCarnival says
Yes, Powerpoint also has Master Slides https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-and-customize-a-slide-master-0fbcae59-6eda-4abe-b35f-821b87f5d03e

Peter Locker says
Why does it say I have to request access? How do I bypass this?
Jimena says
Hello Peter, it happens with some school/corporate google accounts that are blocked from downloading google content from outside their domains (to protect employees or young students). Could that be your case? You can try with a personal account or you can download the PowerPoint file and then upload it to your Google Drive (this way you’ll be able to edit it with Google Slides).

How can I change the font from Droid Sans? When I try to replace all fonts, nothing happens/:
I cannot save it as is.
Jimena says
Hello Austin, the fastest way to change all fonts is through the master slides. Are you using the Google Slides or the Powerpoint version?
