Hello, is there a way to maintain the aspect ratio of photos that are dropped into the background images? Thanks!
Jimena says
Not that I know of, but try asking at Google Product forums
Hamish says
how do you change the colour of the same slide like from orange to blue?
Jimena says
You have to change the background image to a watercolor with blue tones. Use Google images to find an photo that fit your needs or download a watercolor texture from GraphicBurguer (you’ll find the link in the Credits slide)

Right-click your selection in the thumbnail pane, and then select Format Background. In the Format Background pane on the right, select Picture or Texture Fill, and then, under Insert picture from select File and choose the picture that you want. For more info check Powerpoint help

The template is great!!!
But I have one question. How can I change the pictures in the background in google slides?
Jimena says
Select a slide and go to the Slide menu, and select Background, or right-click in a slide and select Change background. Then upload your own photo.
Jimena says
Hi Polly, that happens sometimes when you have the emoji add-on installed in Chrome. Is that your case?
Mel says
How do you change the white parts of the background? I want the color splashes to stay, but I want a picture for the white parts.
Jimena says
I’m sorry but that can’t be done as the white parts are images placed in the master slides
Stefan Kovacevic says
So, I’ve been working on some presentation and I can’t place an image in the rectangle … If you could answer me please that would be great.
Jimena says
Select a slide and go to the Slide menu, and select Background, or right-click in a slide and select Change background. Then upload your own photos/images.
Katherine says
Please PUBLICIZE THIS EMOJI BUG widely! I know you can’t fix the emoji add-on, but you need to let people know they’re incompatible. I had no idea and I have wasted three hours of my life re-creating an entire presentation because of this! This should not be happening!
Jimena says
I already contacted the add-on support, I hope they’re able to fix it.
Dima says
How do you add a picture like in slide 10 where the picture fits in with the paint splatter on google slides?
Jimena says
Hello Dima, that photo is set as a slide background. Actually in that slide there’s a transparent image above with the splatter as a hole, which shows the background below.
Zoe Schwartz says
how do you change the colors?
Jimena says
You have to change the background image to a watercolor on the color you want. Use Google images to find an photo that fit your needs or download a watercolor texture from GraphicBurguer (you’ll find the link in the Credits slide)

I don’t know why, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to use those awesome icons that are included! I use Google Slides.
Thanks!
Jimena says
Hi Kylie, copy the icon you need from slide number 27 and paste it in the slide where you want to use it. Easy peasy :)

Emma says
I was wondering if there was a way to flip the background. A lot of the color is on the right side and I was hoping to balance things out by flipping some of the slides like a mirror image and have the colors on the left.
Thanks!!
Jimena says
Hi Emma, you can enter the master slides and there you’ll be able to flip the background white shape in some of the slides. Please check the FAQs.
Emy says
For some reason the animations pane is not working at all. It is light grey and nothing happens when clicked on. Can anyone help?
Jimena says
Hi Emy, do you mean in Powerpoint or Google Slides? In Powerpoint you have to select one element (text or shape) to see the animation options activated in the panel.

Anna bella Carranza says
This is beautiful art but how do I get it to one of my slides?
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Anna, it depends on which software you use. In the FAQs section there are two videos explaining how to apply a new template to an existing presentation in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Hazel says
How do I download it? It says I need a request in order to get into it. Can you help me out? I can’t find a way to get in.
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Hazel, please check this answer.
Elisha says
Hi,
I love your templates and think they are beautiful, but unfortunately can’t use some of them because I have a Mac. Apparently your designs are not always compatible with apple. I just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t. For this one, it locks me in on what looks like Times New Roman, but tries to call it Lato and Lato Lite (your original font from the template). Also, I can’t change the slide master to make it easier. So either, I have to change the font throughout the presentation to Gil Sans (the closest I could find) or move on to a different template.
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi Elisha, I’m sorry to hear that. I use a Mac myself to design the templates and never had any issue.
Have you downloaded and installed the fonts (Lato and Lato light) and even so the template appears with Times New Roman?
You can use this shortcut to change the fonts in the whole presentation.
Miss Bonsall says
How do you make the facts and instructions about the slide disappear? I would like the app better if it had this in it.
Jimena Catalina Gayo says
Hi! You can simply delete that slides or apply the theme/template to a brand new presentation (see how to do it in PowerPoint or Google Slides), so you’ll get the design without the sample slides.
bubot says
Hi,
